A Simple Wash

I like keeping my car clean (as I’m sure most folks do), but I’m also lazy. I’ve always been in search of a way to wash my car quickly but have good results. I’ve finally found exactly what I’ve been looking for.

AMMO makes some excellent car care products, and in my opinion, the best on the market. Larry, the company founder, truly knows what he’s doing and the site and products are aimed at professional detailers. But he’s created a product called FROTHe that has just made my car-cleaning life the easiest it’s ever been.

I bought the whole kit, which you can find here, and it’s a very simple process (watch the video on the page). FROTHe the car, wiped it down, then use HYDRATE. It’s really that easy. The entire process of washing the car took about 15 to 20 minutes, and the results were beautiful.

This system isn’t meant as a concours detail finish, and you won’t get that. What you’ll get is a better-than-average weekend garage wash that will show-up most other cars at your local cars and coffee event.

It’s perfect for in-between details, people who don’t have a lot of time, people who don’t have a garage, people who have limited space, or people who are just lazy but still want to keep their car clean, beautiful, and protected.

There’s also one other surprise this wash system provides: Fun. Normally I see washing my car as a chore; it’s something that needs to be done, but I don’t necessarily always want to do it. I’ve discovered with FROTHe and HYDRATE that I actually enjoyed washing the car. That probably translates into “I’ll be washing the car more often.” My wife will appreciate that, “car things” are my responsibility, which means I keep both of our cars clean and in running order. She’ll be getting her E46 washed a lot more now.
